Some people need the most powerful diet pill, others who follow a gluten-free diet have to avoid wheat, rye and barley completely. Some foods that contain these ingredients are obvious (like cookies and cakes made with wheat flour), but many packaged foods that you might assume to be gluten-free contain additives that are derived from wheat, rye or barley — so you have to be really careful of what you use in recipes.
